LIC directed to pay death claim to policyholder's dependents in Bokaro

A consumer forum at Camp 2, Bokaro, discussed a case related to LIC (Life Insurance Corporation)

A case related to LIC was discussed at a consumer forum at Camp 2, Bokaro. President of the Consumer Forum, Dr. JPN Pandey, issued a decision to pay the amount to LIC within 60 days.

Anil Verma has filed a case against the senior manager of LIC. Anil Verma said that Jayaprakash Verma had taken a 1 lakh 20 thousand policy from LIC.

After he gave information about his death to LIC, payments were repeatedly demanded against the policy. But the answer was not given.

After the hearing, the forum directed the LIC to pay the death claim to the dependents of the policyholder.
